Google has posted their Zeitgeist for 2005. But what I think really makes this year�s version interesting is the way in which Google has gone about presenting the information visually.

Google Zeitgeist 2005

Contrasted with past year�s versions of simple lists of the most popular searches in various categories, Google presents this year�s zeitgeist in a very Tuftian manner. Search trends are graphically illustrated over time � allowing the reader to quickly digest the information presented.
