Various web luminaries weigh in on Microsoft's MIX06 and the latest IE 7 "rendering complete" beta:

The long and short of it is that IE 7 has gotten a lot of things right this time around. Many of the rendering quirks that we've all grown to love live with have been ironed out and support for numerous other CSS features has been added (e.g. min-width and max-width — woohoo!).

I'm still not thrilled about the interface (button placement is just all wrong), but I don't have to actually use it — just make sure that things work right for those who do.
